Lindey Home Inspection Service LLC is owned and operated by licensed home inspector, Douglas Lindey. After growing up in an Insurance family and working as a Commercial lines Property Casualty Agent for 5 years. Doug’s interests developed into building safe homes and the structures and systems inside of them. Instead of insuring against or gambling with the insurance companies to protect your home. Doug wants to find the issues and have them corrected before you close, before you find out its a “Money Pit” After over 16 years experience in the residential construction business, Doug went into the Home Inspection field. He saw a need to help people invest in a home that would help them find security and piece of mind knowing the in-depth information about their home. He became licensed as a home inspector in 2015 and couldn’t love his career more. In addition to home inspection, Douglas enjoys spending quality time with his thirteen grandchildren, marathon running, and riding his Harley. He is a U.S. Navy Veteran and believes strongly in the principles of integrity and honesty.

Before he became a licensed home inspector, Douglas worked at The Home Depot for 15 years. In an effort to help their employees provide the best information possible to their customers, Home Depot offered several classes to teach employees about the systems and components in a home along with information about renovation and maintenance. Douglas was eager to learn everything he could and participated in over 175 classes during his time with the company. He uses this knowledge today as he inspects homes and as he offers his professional and trustworthy advice to home buyers.
